3 hours from Boston, 5 hours from New York City...winter wonderland and summers to die for.
"who could ask for anything more"
coming for a visit? here are some maps and links to MapQuest (including driving directions) that may help you find us. or you can call (802) 496.4495 anytime (or better, from anywhere).

Located in north-central Vermont, we live in a small community called the Mad River Valley. The winters are full of snow and the summers are 80 F and little or no humidity.

From Boston:
(approx. 3 hours)
• take I-93 North out of Boston into New Hampshire. Pay the $0.75 toll and continue on I-93 in NH until you come to I-89 north (1 hr)
• take I-89 north all the way through NH past Lebanon and into Vermont (1 hr)
• take I-89 north through Vermont to exit 9, Middlesex/Moretown. come off the exit and go left (you will pass under the highway). go left at the T in the road and take your 1st right onto state highway 100B south. this will take you through moretown and eventually turn into I-100 South (1 hr)
• follow I-100 south through Waitsfield, Irasville until you come to Warren (18 miles). drive past the Warren entrance on the left and take the next right (lincoln gap road). follow lincoln gap 1.25 miles until you see Vickery Hill Road. go right up the dirt road and we are the 2nd house on the right (large brown barn).

From New York City:

From elsewhere:
take a plane, train or bus - or check out Mapquest's driving directions from your location

Planes, Trains & Buses
Burlington International Airport is the closest major airport (45 miles).

We highly recommend JetBlue airlines for coming into Burlington via New York's JFK airport. They are inexpensive, comfortable and friendly

Greyhound Bus comes all the way to Montepelier or Waterbury and is not bad either

Or you can go for Amtrak - a nice peaceful trip north through the mountains! The direct from NYC-Penn Station to Rutland from New York is a great ride and only 5 hours!
