AT&T is finally coming to Vermont (with the iPhone)

After waiting for months and months, it appears the AT&T takeover of
Unicel/RCC's Vermont cellular business has finally begun. The Burlington, VT CBS affiliate, WCAX, reported on new jobs coming to Vermont because the acquisition was final.

To confirm, I just spoke with Unicel's customer service. All Vermont UNICEL customers will be getting notification in an upcoming
bill explaining the acquisition and changes that are coming.

Finally, i can use my iPhone in Vermont in peace and quiet and not have to pay forwarding charges to Unicel for the lack of Local Number Portability! No thanks to Bernie.
