Tile

layer of concrete for the shower pan and the 3rd layer of hydroban!

3/4 pan

I started building the shower pan for the 3/4 bath downstairs today.

- 6 mil poly on the subfloor
- hardibacker on the curb
- then mortar mixed with lactite instead of water for the sloped layer

Next is 2 coats of Hydroban, then the 2nd layer of mortar/lactite mix,
followed by 2 more coats of Hydroban

Away for the weekend

After being away for the weekend, we return to find the plumbers
ripped it up (in a good way) all day Saturday and the Carpenter's put
all the doors in downstairs - before a got to paint!
