Steps to Successful Sushi
1) patience is a virtue (and the first ingredient)
2) a sharp knife is your friend
3) don't over paddle the rice...it can get 'too' sticky

a cancelled flight and a 2.75 hour record drive from Logain Airport to Warren started off the weekend

donna & mark skiied Friday and we all went out friday night

saturday dave, mark & i headed out to Mount Ellen while carrie & donna went down-village shopping.

we saw disturbing employee comments on the ticket window

but man, the skiing was fantastic! we took a run across Inverness and then headed up and up to the peak

after reaching the summit, the view from Panorama showed us that the main lift up was shut
down with people stranded on it...so we had the top runs all to ourselves from the peak to Glen House

mark getting freaky reverse stile down panorama

then prepping himself for some "argon air"

the view over the long trail

mark and dave 'chargin the trees'

dave just before his serious 4mph 'wipeout'

and lunch at the glen house

after lunch, dave went home for some scrips and mark & i got hung up on trees 'back country'

finished up by meeting donna & carrie and almost losing our heads to a run-away ski

home to change and prep for dinner

i prepared the seafood with donna & carrie watching

rolled my first "salmon roll" - not too pretty at that

carrie displays the final product, all in all, not so bad once we got the knife sharpened and the sticky un stuck

and finished with homemade Sushi @ VickeryHill (sticky sticky rice and all) - and nothing was thrown
